Just started to code for a real VFD tube connected to an Arduino MEGA. First step was to reverse-engineer the pixel-driving via the parallel interface. Now it does a smooth Invaders animation.

The main ingredient in the process is the UV light. UV-light is highly capable of damaging polymers. So I doubt wheter 3 days in the sun is the better idea than using peroxide with 1 hour of sun. It w ...

Yes, but it is no alternative. It takes horribly long, and then still it is nowhere near perfect. I like the salon cream very well.

I think they melted the plastic to keep it in place. It will break on removal. I never had these enclosed buttons fail. The plain ones with rubber only I clean with an earbud and isopropyl.
