Does anyone know what the highest possible score can be? Is there a difference between Tomy´s and Grandstand´s version in this regard?

Manual says maximum is 2000 Points, but another source in the net suggests 25000.

I am interested in your opinions.

After a further examination I found out that at least on Tomy´s version the scoring works like this:

Mode AMA and PRO - max. Score possible is 2000 Points. After that there is a rollback to 0 points, or in other words - a new "round" begins.

So to obtain any highscore, everyone has to count the rounds and calculate the total points in the end...

How about the Grandstand version? Is it similar?

EDIT: I found something out that is not mentioned in the manual:

For every 2000 pts you receive one egg, since the score display won´t exceed 2000 points, as stated in the manual.

Now if you want to know your score, you count the eggs that are shown at the end of the game, and multiply it by 2000, then you add the score that is shown above. This equals your total score.

So IT IS possible to receive more than 2000 points.

My first thought when I saw the image on the highscore page. Mr. Green
So the max score is 17990? There are 8 eggs in the cave.

Sure, could be. Haven´t gone that far though...pretty tough with all that lava coming down and those Fly-o-sauruses stealing your eggs. And just one Axe at a time isn´t a big help either.....

Oh my, life was difficult in the old days Mr. Green
