I hope this is the correct area to post this.

Some photos of my Coleco Donkey Kong Tabletop with custom Hyperspin build. Found a broken one eBay and gave it a new life. YouTube video of it in action below the images.  Enjoy!

BTW...I'd really like to thank and give credit to the right people who provided these Coleco games. Could someone tell me? I found them on this forum.

The Coleco games were originally designed on Mess. However, Mess and Mame are now converged programs so all the Coleco games run in Mame v0.162

Thanks for your compliment! Unfortunately, no it doesn't run on the original batteries. Wink

I had to cut out the battery chamber to make room for the new guts. You can read all about how I did it here:

And here is a video of it in action:

The time and dedication it took to make that... that's very impressive vwalbridge. I love that in addition to the original arcade games you've also emulated the tabletop games and other consoles too. Nice job.

Thanks Tartfox! I really did spend an unhealthy amount of time making it. LOL But it was a ton of fun. Putting the original Coleco games on it was very fitting. I tried to pay homage to the original as much as possible.

Laughing Yea, most of that "washed-out" picture on the new screen is because of the angle that I took the picture. Since it's a LCD screen turned on its side, the screen washes out a bit.

However, it looks pretty good in person playing it at the proper viewing angle.
