Being a long time monster fan, I was wondering if there are any games out there that fall in to this category. Anything with ghosts, goblins, ghouls, that sort of thing. Dracula House caught my eye but I am unfamilar with this game. Any ganes out there that have cool graphics along with neat looking box? Combining my two favorite passions would be a dream come true.
Anyone remember this? Just picked up a facory sealed specimen. This brings back all kinds of childhood memories.

There are several. Dracula/Dracula House, Vampire, The Dracula, are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Dracula House is by Epoch (one I'm hoping to get soon), 'The Dracula' is by tsukuda, and a Japanese only release. Vampire is by bandai, and is a DK clone with dracula instead of Donkey Kong. These are all VFD games, and there are several other LCD ones, but that's really not my neck of the woods.

Thanks for the info guys. I do have one question for Thag. What makes you want Dracula House so badly? Are you aware of any details about gameplay?
If you can share what you know I'd appreciate it.

Well, after skimming the manual in the archive here, the games sounds pretty involving. Dodge the wolfman and dig into Dracula's crypt, and then collect all the jewels in a random maze, then open one of three coffins in hopes of finding Dracula. If you find him, you have to lure him towards one of the crosses in the maze, pick it up, and kill him.

Dunno, just sounds like fun to me. I like almost any game that features random replayability. Keeps the game fresh.

Also, the fact that it was sold worldwide probably hints that it's pretty fun. Ask someone here who owns it if you want the inside scoop though.

Shortly I'll be listing a Bandai Terror House and Entex Raise The Devil on eBay. I also have a spare Epoch Dracula in need of repair (won't stay powered on for more than a second).

I haven't played the Dracula much, probably because it seemed somewhat difficult (and I hate a challenge Wink). Bandai Frankenstein is fun and probably right up your alley.

Ghost House is great, I've played it quite a bit. It runs through several different stages, more variety than usual for an LCD.

There's also this, though cheap, mint, boxed ones are easy to find.

Thanks for the info spacemonster. I'd be interested in your Terror House game if you would like to avoid ebay fee's. Drop me a line so we can get the ball rolling.
