I wonder if it would be possible to do game reviews on various games that people could send in. Like on the Boardgamegeek you could do a review and have people comment on the review or add one of their own to the same or different games. Then when you click on a game from each respective section ( ie Armour Battle on Mattel's page ) you'd get the cool info Rik has posted on it, plus a link to any reviews.
It would really help new collectors like me ( 40 games now ) know which ones I might want to take a look at and buy, based on game play, etc.
Plus it might give you extra info you might not already know ( how similar are Mattel's Basketball and Hockey, Coleco's Head to Head basketball and HTH hockey, why is the screen on Coleco HTH football sort of mesh looking instead of smooth plastic, etc )
I have a feeling it might be a huge undertaking, but I thought I'd ask.
Cheers

Thats a great idea. But I don't care if a game's game play is good or not. If I have the chance to get it, I will.

Well, I could start a 'Game Review' section on the forum, that'd be easy enough... Then I could move the reviews to the actuall pages in the museum so they'd be seen there... That'd be the quick and dirty way to do it. Mr. Green

I've actually thought about trying to create little 'blog' or 'comment' sections for each page like some website have, but I'd have to find a way to manage it to keep out the spammers...

Your down and dirty idea would work fine for starters, Rik. If you could do that, it'd be great.
It wouldn't just have to be reviews, but questions or comments relating to the game itself. I'd find that very useful.

Oh and Mario...wow, if game play isn't important to you... do I have a few games to sell to you then! Hope you brought your wallet. Very Happy

This is a great idea. I'd be happy to contribute too, if you want to add the section.

I could only do the g/w and classics because classics are more likely to have better game play. I like the stupid games, it makes the game play better.

Being new to collecting handhelds, man of my questions pertain to game play. Rik, I think that adding a game review section would be key. I would certainly provide any help that I could.

Yeah it would also be my pleasure to contribute, some games are really great and some others pretty boring... and to have a link or the best comments on the website itself would definately add a value !
