Super Mario Bros Super Show? Laughing Ye gods that brings back memories. Soooooo cheesy.....

My current, and only, favorite TV show is the *new* Battlestar Galactica, which is, without a doubt, the finest sci-fi I've ever watched on movies or tv. Period. Edward James Olmos is one hell of an actor.

Other than that, erm, nothing. I cancelled my cable. I want to eventually get around to watching Lost and Heroes.

I was a big Space 1999 fan, i bougth back the complete series, it was cheezy but boy did it ever open my little fantasy box between my ears !

I'm still a trekkie, still hooked on the next generation.

That show WAS english it was filmed entirely in England!!!
It was a big hit in England , Italy ,Canada and Japan!!
That's my childhood!!!!In Italy they even relesed the movies in theatres that elsewhere didn't.Of course then it came 1999 but it was pure sci-fi no earth locations or earth life.In UFO the beautiful thing was to watch what they imagined the earth would be in 1980!You should see the technology!!The cars and the planes and all the other stuff...ahh the clothings and dresses!!!!...AMAZING!!!The SKYDIVER was my favorite!
Of corse you have to look at it with the eyes of the early seventies!
I have all the DVDs released and even the special edition with memorabilia for fans!I'm soo shocked that in June 2005 both my childhood heroes, the COMMANDER STRAKER and PAUL FOSTER,Ed Bishop and Mike Billington both passed away within one week!!! Crying or Very sad
I'm still sooo SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!It like loosing your parents!!!And I'm not jocking!!! Crying or Very sad
AHHH THE MUSIC ,it was AWESOM!!!!It's the ringtone in my telephone!!

I have never seen this (but I am a fan of 1999). But, it definitely looks like a great 70's cheesy sci-fi show! Mr. Green

I wonder where all those cool little models and vehicles and such ended up...

Thanks for the links Alex. I do remember the theme tune now I've listened to it, and I probably watched most of an episode or two as I also remember the spinning UFO's and the good guys space ships with just the one huge missile each! The bloke with the white hair looks strangely familiar. He is the only person I remember.

Neil.
