Excellent idea ! I remember I was looking for infos about NEC D553C160 chip (found in Tomy's Pucman) without any luck
I am also interested in having some more detailed specs about these chips. |

with some help from good old Google I managed to find some technical specs of HD38820 chip (used on many tabletops like Coleco's etc)
