Hi ,as many of you might know I'm a big baseball fan,and I'm searching for every handheld game baseball related.Today I received this NOS 1992 game that I bought last week in Belgium. It's a Bandai and............that's all I know.In order to classified it , I need some sort of a name other than "japanese baseball game" .There is a II which indicates its the second to an other one. That's all.Anybody here knows how to read the japanese?

Arigatou gozaimasu !!!

Well, the first part of the title is "Mezase," if that helps at all. I can't figure out the kanji, though, because there's over 1800 commonly used letters in that particular written language system, and I know about four or five of them. Neutral

Thank you both !I think I'll go with a vanilla "japanese baseball game II" until I'll learn with some manga how to read the Japanese! Laughing

Hi, sorry to ask again for a little help, but I'm so courios about it!
I was puzzled about the fact that I received on my site a lot of visits coming from this site:

http://electronic.exblog.jp/

Without any knowledge of japanese i found the page that was linking to my site :

http://electronic.exblog.jp/bl.....3A00%2E000

あと、海外ですけど、箱だけじゃなく本体とか説明書も公開してるところとかも発見。
海外のページでは、詳しい紹介の仕方してるページはほとんどないのですが、ここは
なかなか凝った紹介してくれてるのが良いですね。

Anyone knows what they are talking about?
Babelfish gives some exylarant translations!

Also check out the handhelds pages it has a lot of RARE pictures of RARE games!!

Thank you anyway!!

Alex

Yeah, that's the collector that used to have a site that I called 'Valkyrie'. Back in 2001 I found this picture on his site:

I was always impressed by that picture! I can almost duplicate it now, but it was an inspiration back then! He closed his site and it was a few years before I found the new one (the blog you are referring to).

And I think Linda's right, it's callot on eBay. He has a lot of really cool games... This is his handheld game blog:

http://electronic.exblog.jp/i7/

Lots of cool pictures, but of course I can't read any of it... Rolling Eyes

Hi sorry to ask again for a little help , but I really can't give this TAKATOKU game that i bought on Yahoo Japan a name :

Since I can't find the game in the Museum\FAQ it might even go in the missing game section. The battery is there only to give the exact proportions of this tiny little game.

Thank you Jaro and thank you Rik.
I almost got it right by calling it simply Game 5 !
It must have been something like the Simon game and the Pocket Simon one or Kingsford's Match Me \ Mini Match Me games.
Only thing strange it was done by the Gakken\Takatoku duo.
Thank you again, and I must get that japanese book, it would go well along Jaro's fantastic book.Having read his biography and his interviews and his past commitment to his hobby, I'm always kind of emotioned when I talk to him!He is certaintly much more than a collector!.Everytime I show the book to someone, it always amazes the reader (its a feast for your eyes!).
Talking about books, when is Linda's new book\guide going to be published? I sold the old one because I thought the release of the new one was very close.

Hi there! It doesn't seem that your questions were fully answered regarding your Japanese questions. I know these are old posts, but if you still want some clarification, here goes:

The baseball game box says: Upper lefthand corner in the yellow circles: "Pocket Club"

Red banner under P-1 "Wide Screen" then in green: "LSI Power Sports"

The title is "Mezase Sankanou 2" which roughly translates to "Aim For the Triple Crown 2" Sankanou is the title given to Japan's Triple Crown tournament baseball winner. I really can't see/read the small text, sorry =/

As far as the blurb of Japanese text you pasted, it says something to the effect of: "It might be overseas, but it showcases not only the boxes, but the game units and manuals too. As far as overseas sites go, usually they don't do much in the way of giving a detailed introduction, but this site gives a wonderfully/artistically presented introduction." I'm assuming he's talking about your site? (Ironically I just ran across your "all games for sale" post, but your site seems awesome, I actually bookmarked it so hopefully you're leaving it up for a while so I can browse it! =P) The blurb didn't seem to have a context, and I looked at the site and couldn't find said blurb in the link you posted or anywhere else.

Finally, the front of the Game Robot 5 box says at the top: "Lights and sounds running in the palm of your hand."

The main part on the front says: "Game Robot 5 is compact & high-fidelity. No matter what, no matter where, (can't really read the characters on the right side in the middle, they're too detailed) humans, aliens, everyone can enjoy 5 different games!"

Hope this helps, and if you have anything else you need translated, please by all means ask away! ^^

Careful what you offer, there's a lot of Japanese games I need translated! Mr. Green Mr. Green

You mentioned Fist of the North Star in another thread, so how about this game:

http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Bandai/HokutoNoKen.htm

What is the full name of that game?

Thanks, Rik
