That LCD looked messed up to me. High bidder, you're around -- did it work? (Please PM me if you are still being secretive about your ID, I know who you are! Wink )

I asked the vendor about it myself, he said that he simply saw no reason it wouldn't work as it was so new looking, but he had not tested it. if the buyer wasn't happy they could return it, he said. Rolling Eyes

Even if it did work, I would not spend that kind of money for fear that it would still go bad in the future...

I hope to get at my Black Knight one of these days, if I can figure out which box it's packed away in. I was thinking I should have it in a safe deposit box!

No, it's no good. I can tell from the pictures. With no batteries in it, the display look like any other LCD game when off- a solid, silvery-gray color. You shouldn't be able to see any sprite-type graphics at all...

And like others here, I don't think I've ever seen a working one. I have a brand-new-in-box one myself, but the screen looks like the one in the auction. I never thought I'd find a worse quality LCD than Microvision, but I think this one wins...

I'll buy a Long Bomb in ANY condition as long as the LCD looks good... Cool Haven't seen one yet...

I'm always suspicious of auctions where the seller tells you the item's untested. Generally I equate that as meaning 'I've tested it, it doesn't work, but I'm going to pretend otherwise', because there's no reason not to test something, and it's in the seller's interests, if it works of course! It's the same with LED watches; I always demand to see a photo of the illuminated watch face as otherwise chances are it won't work.
