|
|
Back in the 80's when everyone else was buying 'action' games I had a less popular game that I can't track down. The game involved identifying a thief/criminal from a choice of several (I think). It was a logic/puzzle type of game. The game was self contained, no game board, cards or paperwork.
I am certain it was not LCD. It certainly ended with a Police siren when the person was caught. It may have had a red case and I think it was larger than 'handheld'. I owned electronic battleships (for 1 player) at the time and I think this game was only a little smaller than that.
Looking in your museum I still can't come up with a make but it certainly looked more modern than Shoestring Detective. I thought I had bought it at Tandys but apparently not.
I'd appreciate any thoughts but lets allow for my memory 20 years on |

I honestly think 'my game' didn't have paperwork etc but this game might be close enough so I'm bidding for it.
It's as if a more up to date game was made, without paperwork because this one sounds so similar.
If I can obtain the Ideal game, I promise I'll come back and admit I was wrong if it turns out to be 'the one'.
Thanks for your help. |

That almost sounds like the Stop Thief game by Parker Brothers. Though this one too had paperwork and such. |
