Yeah i stay away from those untested or no batteries at home could not test (right no batteries at home...). I even had one saying that the game (DK Junior tabletop) was working fine and it didn't work, i challenged him and he told me, really funny, "oh i'm sorry i forgot to tell you to put the batteries the other way around for it to work..." pathetic... Evil or Very Mad

Nice list phitter. You have a lot of work yet Smile. I suppose try to find the japanese games are 2 big problems:
1) buy in Japan. They usually buy his items in yahoo japan and not international sellers.
2) The language Smile. (you can't find a good list of baseball japanese games).

I have the same problem Linda, games are the batteries corroded but it's easy to solve. Sometimes i receive games that i have to clean with alcohol or screwdriver. When you clean these the game works fine, but i would like to know after to buy !!! Wink

Bye Friends.

Great collection Phitter. I am interested in the Micro Electronics Baseball games. I have a 5 button version and was wondering what the practical difference is to the 4 button version. The 4 button game has more switches and a different score board but does it differ in play in any way? I have very limited room to store my collection so I can only buy a game if it is different, and not just cosmetically changed in some way, especially when they are the size of this game!
Thanks, Neil.

Neil UK-

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Both games are essentially the same. The 5-button version has the operative gameplay configured in a vertical fashion on the scoreboard and the 4-button game utilizes a horizontal format on the scoreboard. Otherwise, the game is played in exactly the same way.

The 4-button eliminates the second "Pitch" button and I have not found any difference in game play using only the one Pitch button.

The games are different enough for me to want both versions but if you want to save some space, you should be able to avoid purchasing the 4-button model. Hope this helps.

Hi Phitter,
Thanks very much for getting back to me Smile . From what you have told me I will probably stick with the one I have (and save a load on postage costs!), as there is very little difference in them.
Have you won any good baseball games recently?

Neil.

I have recently picked up Galoob's Mr. Baseball game version to add along side my MVP Baseball version. I also won a couple of newer games for reasonable prices like the Coleco Head-to-Head Baseball re-issue.

I was recently outbid by our pal Linda on a Caprice Pro-Action Strategy Baseball game that I had never seen before. She does this to me from time to time.

Since I really only look for electronic baseball games, I don't come across too many that I still need but I am constantly trying to upgrade. I am truly amazed that games will turn up that I have never seen before (and that's in scouring eBay for going on seven years now.)

How about you? Do you concentrate on specific games? Any good buys lately?

Yeah, that one was new to me as well... I've added it to the site though... Now I have to wait for another one on Ebay (well, maybe another 2... Mr. Green )

Phitter, you know I needed it for my Caprice Handheld collection. Very Happy
I have the football, Soccer, Baseball, and I still need the Caprice Basketball. I've been looking for this baseball game boxed for awhile.

I first saw it at the site below. He still has it for sale I believe. I didn't think it was worth the loose price, but you may be able to deal with the owner.

Hey, no hard feelings. What were you willing to pay for that? I was considering increasing my high bid but then (regrettably) decided not to.

I will now be looking hard for the Caprice Basketball game so I have some trade bait.

Mattel Re-Issue
(Notice the "Sound" button - this feature was not standard on the original model.)
