Hi there folks,

First, thanks very much to Rik to activate my account here on this forum,
hope i'll be able to contibute in any way i can. Smile

Second, i was wondering if any of you here knowns about the arcade game called "Scramble" by Mirco in 1975 ? Well, this one got me really puzzled since it's the only arcade game which used LED's as a display rather than the usual CRT.

Check here for the flyer: http://flyers.arcade-museum.co.....mp;image=1

And here for a picture of the LED screen: http://www.arcade-history.com/?n=scramble&page=detail&id=29496

Now, i've never seen an arcade using LED's for a display screen and it's the only one ever (so far) that does that. Have anyone here knows how the game plays ? Or have the manual of this BIG electronic game ?

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, ect..is greatly appreciated on this one.

I recently had over a couple of guys from a Dutch startup that are kind of building the exact same thing.... Wonder if they know this one.

Hi blanka,

Really ? Hope they will post a few pics to show their project. But if
they do know about the Scramble game, would be great to know
how this game works. Smile

That's actually kind of impressive, I've never seen or heard of that before...

Not even listed in KLOV (although the V stands for Video games, they still include non-videos on the site.) (Killer List Of Videogames for those that have never heard of it.)

Hi Rik,

Indeed it is impressive and also mysterious (until we can learn more about it).
I saw this one a few months ago while making a research on discrete logic arcades
to know how many were released from 1971 to 1980. And this one is indeed
quite unique!

There's only places on the internet which it is listed: TAFA & Arcade-History.
I've searched for 2-3 day and nothing more. Sad

Just imagine, having this arcade with your handhelds collection, this will surely be
a hell of a topic discussion. Lol! Smile

Well, it's hardly a handheld (although you could still call it a 'tabletop' I suppose. Cool )

But I collect arcade games too... (Only have a couple, but that counts!)
