Here's a boxed Entex Super Alien Invader 2, fairly rare boxed (but the box looks a little beat up, and the game falls into that 'I can't test it, so it's as-is' category. Rolling Eyes )

I am watching this one. Hopefully no one here wants this one really badly. I need to get one of these.

Looks like someone talked this guy into selling off eBay for too little money:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA.....T&rd=1

(I assume, of course, but I know it happens all the time, and I find it reprehensible. And if it did happen, I am not saying it was someone here, how would I know?...)

(Rik, I think this is a missing game; I couldn't find it, anyway)

Well, if you think it's worth $700, there's a loose Tiger Star Castle (handheld) on Ebay:

Also claims there's never been one on Ebay in 8 years... I've seen 3 in the last 4 years, so he obviously isn't looking very hard. Mr. Green

He sold the box and instructions? What a dingbat!

I started noticing this sellers listings a few weeks ago. $200 for a boxed The Dracula? I don't think he'll be moving much stock in a hurry.

Nice mate. What I choose to sell my items for is my choice. Evil or Very Mad
I have sold AU$3-4,000 worth of games since late December and have been into handhelds since the early 80's, and buying/trading on the net with other collectors since the late 90's, so I do have an idea of the market. If Dracula doesnt sell for what I want, I keep it. Rolling Eyes

I mainly collect loose games and have nearly all them. Boxed games dont make me wet. I do have some boxed, but usually pass them on after a while. Like the boxed Tiger tabletops Smurfs & King Kong I sold to Linda. I now have them loose again and I am just as happy having them as owning them boxed. Shes happy, Im happy Yessss!
Cal.

Cal, I'm more than happy. I love my Tiger Tabletops! But you were supposed be my secret Aussie connection! Hope we can do business together again soon.

I've dealt with Cal before too. Cool guy!

I hope I'm not out of line here, but I think spacemonsterviras was just trying to say the game and the box & instructions would have sold for a lot more together.

Our newly formed forum community is still cutting its teeth, and we are still getting used to this new public avenue of communication. I hope it never degenerates into a flamefest like some of the Atari boards!

Hey, Roxette's joined the board! Mr. Green Mr. Green

A gather you are a fan? Welcome to the boards!

In all honesty, I didn't even look to see who was selling it in the first place... I may have bought/sold with Cal before, and I know I've been in Email contact with him in the past... He's definitely a seasoned collector...

We aren't trying to start flame wars here, we just occasionally rag on people in good fun. Cool

And look at that, someone DID think it was worth $700! Very Happy Now, I wonder if that's the same person that has the box...

Oops. I forget that you never know who's listening in these forums. Embarassed As Dan says all I meant was that the differential between boxed and unboxed games seems to have sharply widened lately, though perhaps I haven't been collecting for long enough to be aware of any trends. What I have noticed is that unboxed games are selling for very low prices here in Australia, depending upon their rarity of course. I'm selling a few extras currently and have been disappointed with the low bids. It's a double-edged sword mind you, I've won quite a few things for silly prices. It would be convenient if I could bring myself to believe in karma...

Scurrying back to my corner now. Smile
