Hello Laurent from Belgium,
I am a collector of 8 bit systems
well known like Atari consoles and Vectrex
but also obscure like Tomy Pyuuta, Interton VC4000, etc etc
I am beginning now with tabletops
is there a priceguide somewhere to have an idea the price to pay without feeling ripped off ?

When it has the name Nintendo on it, you probably are ripped off. The ones that forgot to mention Nintendo or Game and Watch have the realistic prices: 25 for a decent loose common G&W, 40 for a tabletop and 80 for a nice boxed pne ( they can ask 200 though!). They show up every week, so be patient. All other stuff is usually available at reasonable rates, as long as it was available in Europe. Buy the US stuff in the US, it is less atractive than early 2011, but 1.3 to the euro is still ok considering the lower price level there. Ask about shipping first. Some only want to ship priority. The good ones use first class surface. Same speed, just 15$ to belgium. All below 30$ goes without customs, usually enough for a lot of games. Generic stuff that shows up every month does 10-30€ loose to 40-50€ boxed complete. Advise: if you like the games, concentrate on VFD. LCD is over-collected, especially G&W, where most games are just plain boring. For specific questions, feel free to pm. Good luck!
