1299 euro! OMG. Not even boxed! Highly overrated piece of junk. (someone going to hit me now?)

Heh, just everyone that collects vintage handheld games... Mr. Green This game is one of the holy grails for most collectors. And, to be honest, I have never seen one in that good of shape in a LONG time... Unless it was a boxed one which would easily sell for twice that in that kind of condition.

Quote:
Way better deal as they die on you anyway.

Never had one die on me... I have had a couple that had problems when I got them, but they are very easy to fix. I've got two boxed ones and two loose ones, and one of them I take to gaming conventions and put on display for people to play with... Never had a problem with any of them (after I fixed the two broken ones) yet. (And the two I had that were broken had circuits fried from someone plugging in the wrong kind of AC adapter to it...)

They are fragile though obviously. If you drop it, it's probably going to break something inside that's harder to fix... I always figured the hardest thing to replace would be the motor, but I haven't had one die on me yet...

The most annoying thing with them is getting the damn cartridges to seat properly so the game will play... Smile The connector really sucks.

If you ever see one, in any condition, for 150 euro, let me know. I will pay that much for them all day long... Cool

Damn, post those _before_ the auction ends!!! Mr. Green Mr. Green

I'd have been all over that... Been trying to find boxed ones of these for years.

Kind of annoyed my worldwide 'isidoro' search didn't find that... Gonna have to refine that search I suppose... Anyone here win it?

Yeah, Ebay search sucks. I used ManyAtOnce a while, but that service is broken. I also like the French and German classified section for example, but that part is never shown unless you go to ebay.fr. Even putting the Ebay app on France or Germany does not help.

What do you mean you get 'angry people'? The point of this thread is post auctions _while they are active_ so the collectors of this forum can bid on them.

I understand if you don't post something to try to reduce competition for something you might be interested in yourself, but I'd really like to know if there's anyone that gets mad because someone else posted a link to an auction. There's absolutely no reason for that kind of attitude... If you see something interesting on eBay that others might like, post it so that others might be able to get it...

And, damn, would have never thought that watch would have gone that high...

But I bet those same people would be very happy you posted a link to something they didn't know was on eBay, wouldn't they?

eBay's a public site, anyone can post anything found there anywhere... It's not like it's an exclusive secret not to be shared. Rolling Eyes And the prices didn't go 'higher than normal', they went 'higher than I wanted to pay'... Probably the same kind of people that send low-ball offers to sellers to get them to end the auctions early.

Yeah, now that I think about it, it might be the first one I've ever seen at all... At least that I've actually noticed. I only have a catalog pic on the website...
