I was outbid. I kept the bidding low because of the high shipment. I see this game in France every now and then for around 30€, but until now, I could not find one willing to ship outside France, nor find one who is up to date on payment standards in 2012 (which is not by a paper cheque Evil or Very Mad ).

I would complain stating that the seller is probably shill bidding, the fact it has been relisted with a high buy it now price and the winning bidder only has bidded on this item in the last 30 days is probably going to count against the seller unless the seller paid for the fees completely...

That only works if the winning bidder is a real bidder, and then complains that the seller was bidding up his own item... If the seller ends up winning it himself, then eBay won't care (unless he actually files a non-paying bidder report against himself to get the final value fees back...) In this case, the final value fees are probably less than it cost him to re-list it at $183...

You might get a legit complaint for reserve fee avoidance if you can prove he was bidding on his own item (and, like I mentioned before, it is possible it was a real bidder that backed out when he saw the shipping charges...). But for a single $20 item (even a $183 item), eBay still won't care... Not worth their effort.

It still falls under shill bidding and is banned by ebay policy, although Ebay are not likely to do anything they would likely warn the seller and maybe pull his relisting. Although this is only likely to happen if Blanka does complain as it does seem quite clear cut.

Put it this way, the auction was something like Buy now $220 with bidding, I watched the auction, The bidding ended at $20-$30 or whatever it was. My immediate feeling was the last bid was a shill bid. Don't ask me why, but thats what I fealt at the time. I thought at the time that if if wanted $220 buy now at the beginning then there was no way it would end on a real bid for $30.

But again, you could ask the guy, as I mentioned before, he is a member here. He posted a link to this ebay auction (His auction) here in the cool items on ebay section. last page about half way down. Sorry - would be rude to name him.

Hi.
Whoa I didn't see that.
Way to much. Definitely a ridiculisting. Maybe shipping should have been $65.43 ...lol

He better crack in and take out the battery. It probably already corroding and well on it's way to becoming a dead stick.

Especially this one is very weird:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/EPOCH-.....20c49eb7ab
These show up 10 times a week on ebay.co.uk for 10-15£
The others are at least rare.

For my taste there too many speculators out there:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2210.....1423.l2649

This has nothing to do anymore with collecting, this pure profiteering, no matter how rare a game is. 400% rise within 3 years is pure speculation...

Guess my point got mixed up. The recudilisting Pengo is cannot be like new. The colour of that one is bleached. The one I mentioned is a lot more accurate colour-wise.

Yes , this guy has been spoken about on other forums, he is flooding ebay with these slapped together books from wiki pages. It definately should not be allowed.
