Gee, the ridiculistings have been quiet! But here's a good one.

Yeah, Snoopy tabletops are desirable, and this chick did her homework, so she claims (loudly): "I HAVE RESEARCHED WHAT THESE ARE GOING FOR ON EBAY AND IT IS PRICED ACCORDINGLY, UNLIKE SOME OF THE AUCTIONS IVE SEEN THAT HAVENT SOLD."

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290256210669

So, how come the asking price of $259.99, loose?! Rolling Eyes

Edit: now it's already down to $250, with free shipping! Better jump on it! Wink

Re-Edit: The BIN got all the way down to $75, when she accepted a Best Offer of $58. Reality must have crept in!

Not so much an item but Ebays attempt at a currency conversion.

I learnt today not to trust Ebays conversion attempts when I tried to bid on a game. How hard can it be to work this out?

Current bid: US $29.99
(Approximately £16.76)

Your maximum bid US $33.33
Change max bid
(Approximately £8.66)

It may be in mint condition but this still sounds a lot to me, but then again several of the items he is selling seem way too expensive.

Heh, bought mine for $17 two years ago. Still sealed in it's box.

Maybe I should offer to sell it to him for his 'business' at half his sale price. Mr. Green

Sweet! Especially the lack of stickers and the nice ad text: "Gizmo 1984 Ljn Gremlins- 8” Poseable Figure MIB Mogwai" Laughing

He should have checked with his astrologer before wasting this listing fee:

Mattel Horoscope, yeah it's "never been open", but $200!? Shocked

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA.....%26otn%3D4

or the Split Second one :

http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Sp.....m153.l1262

Ah...but you get free shipping! That explains everything!

Yeah, first he relisted it starting it at $50, then when he didn't sell it, he relisted it again at $200! But with Best Offer this time! Plus it's on sale now for 15% off! Oooh! Oooh!

No more free shipping though! Sad

That's an understatement! Mr. Green I'd be happy to sell a complete set of all 5 of the games for his BIN price...

Oooo... And someone bought it too! Someone's setting up some kind of 'questionable' activity and needs some positive feedback on high-dollar items me thinks....

I'll be reporting that one... Convenient that he hid the bidder IDs too (not that you can see them anyway, I'm not even sure why that's an option anymore...)

For some reason that eBay name looks damn familiar (in the sense that a similar name has been abused in the past...) Does anyone recognize the picture as being from anywhere? Maybe he grabbed an image off the 'net...

Since when is Finland part of the U.K.?

I'm guessing Credit Card fraud/laundering.
