I wonder... Now, I am not accusing anyone of shenanigans, it's just my devious engineer's mind at work, and not to give anyone any ideas, but it occurs to me that it would be pretty simple, in theory anyway, to rewire just about any game's difficulty switch to look like it's on the hardest level when it's actually on the easiest! Twisted Evil

Pretty silly, I know, and the ones that are pcb-mounted would require cutting traces and running jumpers, definitely not worth the effort! Especially when we're on the honor system here, and a pic isn't even required!

Anyway, to unnecessarily think this through to the logical conclusion, the possibility of such cheating would be moot if we had made the standard to set a game on its easiest setting, not its hardest... It wouldn't make sense to rewire to make it look like its set on easy when it's really on hard.

Actually, with most of these games that have a switch like this:

Easy/off/Hard

You can play it on the easy setting, and then REALLY quickly slide the power switch over to Hard, and it won't actually shut off in the process...

Hell, I could use Photoshop and beat _ALL_ of your scores in one night! Cool

I'm just trusting you guys to be honest... Rolling Eyes

Well, that tears it, I'm not believing anyone's high scores without the entire game, from turn-on, being documented in a YouTube video! Very Happy

haha....that would be cool, but i don't think youtube would let you post a video for a very long period of time. (10 minutes or so?) i love going for these high scores but man does it take some work....

i wish they used the same method from Bandai FL BurgerTime for all games... any mode you choose, the light indicator displays which setting is shown on the game screen....
