I just bought this game from Rich. I can't find any information on it.
Now here's the funny thing: despite its name, it's not a baseball game! It's a baseball-themed game. The gameplay is a whacked-out combination of Donkey Kong and a one-player version of Pong.
The playfield is organized into rows. Baseballs appear at the bottom left of the screen and move right. You move the pitcher up and down to different rows to catch the baseballs. The pitcher then throws the ball through a hoop to the batter at the right side of screen. You move the batter up and down like the pitcher. When you intercept the ball with the batter, he'll hit it up to the next higher row and back to the pitcher's side. The pitcher has to catch it and throw it back, et cetera, until the ball gets to the top row on the batter's side, when the batter will hit it and you score a "line". There are multiple balls in play at any one time, and if you let a ball get past either the pitcher or the batter, the umpire will call a strike. Four strikes and you're out! Wait, four? |
