So I like the 3D games and I thought I knew most of them (and by 3d I mean games that generate some kind of stereoscopic effect).

I've got all the tomy 3d games (bar 3d sherman attack) and they are in my view the best.

I've also got the 3 Rosy 3D games (really just 2d games but with a half silvered mirror creating a colour foreground on a different plane.

And I'd count coleco zaxxon as it uses a half silvered mirror and a second vfd to generate a slightly 3d effect.

Radica do some games which look at first glance like they may be 3d like the old tomy games but disappointingly they are not Sad

And I've just recently ordered up a vr3d game by MGA Entertainment. they have a series:
Spider-Man

http://www.conturodesign.com/sites/mgae/new_products_2003/Hulk/vr3d.htm
space invaders
SKATEBOARDING BLITZ
Snowboard Blitz
BMX Circuit
I hope they are genuinely stereoscopic, I'll soon find out when i get my space invaders.

Now I thought I was very clever and that was about it for 3D games, then Rinku popped my bubble by informing me I had to find $1000 somewhere for a 'Tiger Galaxx'..THANKS Sad Wink

SO are there any other stereoscopic 3D games lurking out there that I may not know of? Do let me know. Thanks.

Bandai's version of Zaxxon would fit this as well... It only has one VFD, but it's split with a mirror to create the 3D effect:

And, yeah, Galaxx is a tough game to find (and usually not cheap...)

There's also a 3D Tandy game (3D Sky Duel) which is probably a license from Tomy.

Yeah, that's Tomy's 3D Stereo Skyfighters... Still, it's a variation if you are into that.

oh .. found one more 3D game.
Made by Techno Source in 2007 -
3-D Color V.I.E.W. System: Spiderman 3

http://www.technosourcehk.com/manual/im_90640.pdf

And yes it is truly stereoscopic 3d, achieved with 2 lcd screens and colour underlays backlit by in built LEDs.

The 3d effect isn't that fantastic but at least they tried ... and got it the right way round! Gameplay's just a simple shooter.

I heard a rumor that the Radica 3D Alien Intruder was a little different than the others, that it used a "prism" to make the 3D effect. Don't exactly know what that means.
