First time i've seen this one, just got it today and to my surprise it was boxed with the inserts. I love those weird and unusual games, i already had the 1st one brand new, but this one is quite colorfull and takes 6 C batteries instead of D batteries in the original. I'll post pics soon.

Well basically it's a huge calculator with 5 games in it :

- Blackjack, Shooting gallery, Code hunter, Auto race and Sub chase.

So it's the same as Waddington's first game machine with the sub game added and the colors of the game itself.

Finally got this added to the site... Rolling Eyes

Any chance you can post some pics of the box as well?

Also, you mention you have 'the first one'? Is that just The Game Machine by Vtech, or are you talking about the Mini one? Could always use pics of that if it's not on the site... Mr. Green

Thanks, Rik

Sure thing Rick, i'll get some pics of the box, has a bit of tape on it if i remember correctly.

I'll post them tomorrow.

By the way i was referring to the first game machine, still trying to find a mini game machine...

I'm trying to write down a database of codes for VTech games.

I need information on the Game Machine:

- which code is printed on the box internals? It's on one of the four "flaps", and is similar to 90-xxxx-xx

- which year was the game released? You should find the year on the bottom sticker of the game, on the last page of the manual, and on the cardboard box. Please tell me all the years mentioned there.

- PS: what about the manual? Are there more manuals in several languages? Or in English only?

Thanks Smile

Hi!

Sorry for the delay, been a while since i came here.

Ok The code on the box is 90-0025-00

Instructions are both in english and french in the same manual, year in the instruction book is 1980, same year on the box.

You can also see Item No. 80-0103 on the box right under the year.
