I was in Japan during the earthquake and it was no fun. I was in the AA lounge at the Narita Airport when the columns started cracking and plaster started failing. We were evacuated on the Tarmac where we stayed in near freezing weather for 2.5 hours. My fingers and toes were numb by the time they let us back into the building. We given the best cheese and crackers I ever ate (after not having anything to eat or drink for 16 hours) then they got us some lunch boxes from the planes and gave us sleeping bags since we could not leave the holding area. After a night spent surrounded by tons of people who needed Breathe Right Nasal strips and their chronic gas medications .... WE GOT TV ACCESS ON SATURDAY AND FOUND OUT WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES AND EVERYTHING WAS PUT INTO PERSPECTIVE. I was truly blessed. And even more blessed to get out of Japan today. Everyone I met, huddled under tables with, slept near, etc I wish them the best and they remain in my prayers. Japan will never be the same.

Linda

Indeed our prayers are with them, the situation is pretty scary with all those nuclear reactors exploding. I hope they'll be able to contain this problem.

You were lucky Linda, a lot of them weren't...

Let's give them all the help we can !

Pat
