Hi- I've asked this question in some other places but come up blank... this seems to be the place to ask....
A friend used to own a electronic game which I believe was a colour screened table top. I don't know what it was called or who it was made by and would love to find out... maybe even be able to get hold of one? (we blew hers up by using the wrong ac adapter!... whoops!)
It had the same game play as the 1980 arcade game 'Space Panic' - a little guy climbing ladders and digging holes in platforms for monsters to fall in to.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the Epoch game 'Space Panic' has different game play and am almost certain that it isn't that one.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated.
Thanks!

Maybe Zackman from Radio Shack (or Bandai, depending on where you live)...

It's more of a Dig Dug clone then Space Panic though, but was it that kind of shape? Did the display actually light up, or was it an LCD like the Epoch Space Panic game? That might help narrow it down unless someone else recognizes it... I'm assuming VFD (lit up) since it had an AC adapter port.

Never played Space Panic before, reminds of the old Commodore 64 (and others) game Lode Runner...

I'll keep thinking about it, see if something else pops into my mind. With the amount of games I have, there's a lot of them I've never played more than once... Rolling Eyes

Nope ! Sorry Rik that's not the one though you're right it was definately lit up and in colour and pretty sure it was a similar shape to that, table top.

Lode Runner is a similar though a little more advanced game to Space Panic. This is the space panic game play :

And VFD games are my favorite, so I'm pretty sure I _have_ heard of it, whatever it is... Smile It's probably just a game I haven't played much, or just isn't snapping in my mind... We won't give up tho! Cool
