Hi Handheld Lovers,

Last 2 years I have been working on my book "2kB of Fun". A massive book on our beloved handhelds. Later this week I will let you know when it is going to be released and how to get it, but for now, please support me by liking my Facebook page about the book:

I'm going live on Indiegogo next Tuesday, 0.00 PST/ 03.00 EST / 9.00 CET.
Please preorder your book(s) a.s.a.p so we can make a good start (if one sheep is...)
The campaign will be here:
http://igg.me/at/2kboffun

It will be an all-or-nothing campaign, and sold out=sold out. We will print for every supporter though, so if we need to increase the print run above 2000 copies, that will be acounted for.

Thank you all for your support!

Is there a reason you are using Indiegogo over KS?

Also, do you have a plan to promote the project listing on retro sites , like atariage, digitpress etc etc.

KS does not do business with Dutch, nor in Euro's.
If you have any hints for publicity, let me know, I send them the press kit.
Thanks already for these 2, I will contact them.

also post about this on www.retrogamer.net/forum Alot of the posters over there would be VERY interested in this. I myself will pre-order this as soon as it goes live - currently the link just gives me the

" The page you are looking for is currently in "DRAFT" mode and hidden from the public.

Please contact the campaign owner if you feel
this is in error!"

message.

Question to your handheld game lovers on this forum: I have not seen much response of you here. Do you have some questions, or something not to your likings? Or just flabbergasted. Please let me know.
Here are some sample pages:

A couple of people on Atariage (see link above) noted that they thought some of the tiers were confusing. I must admit when I read them the first time, they didn't make much sense to me either. Actually some still don't make sense. You might want to review them with the eyes of someone who is completely fresh to the project.

This is the cover of the backers-edition:

Custom made for the supporters on Indiegogo.
They will receive a green metallic version with the internals being shown instead of the silver one. Not available in stores.

The last day on Indiegogo. Guess I'm not going to reach the goal, but there is reason to show your love for the project today.
I will keep working on the book and release it as intended, albeit maybe a little slower.
Anybody who supports the project today, can still qualify for the unique special edition. I want to give something exclusive to all early supporters. If you donate today, you can order the special one when finished. Others won't be able to get it.
