Hello,

I wish that someone out there would like to contribute my "Madrigal's Simulators" project by providing any of the following:

- Donkey Kong (coleco tabletop): hi quality picture of game + scans of instructions manual

- Donkey Kong II (nintendo multi screen): scans of instructions manual

- Donkey Kong Jr (coleco tabletop, nintendo panorama, nintendo tabletop): scans of instructions manual

- Pacman (tomy tabletop): hi-quality picture of the game

- Dungeons & Dragons (mattel handheld): scans of instructions manual

I'm planning to re-release the above games with enhanced features, but I need those pics and manuals to proceed.

Please reply asap, thanks in advance Wink

You pick the games I have the crappiest pictures of on my website... Rolling Eyes I need to update some of those...

I have the original photo of D&D seen here:
http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Mattel/D&D.htm
The original is of course higher resolution... And better pics of Coleco DK and Tomy Pac Man. Let me see what I can find tonight.

I also owe you some manual scans... Do you want the all black-and-white ones scanned grayscale? Like the Coleco DK? There's no gradients or anything on that, just the newspaper style patterns to make lighter areas, but I can re-scan them either way...

Comic-Con is this weekend, so I probably won't be able to get to them until next weekend, but if no one else offers I'll get some stuff ready for you.

I don't have the DK II manual, but I think I have everything else (Coleco DK Jr only...)

Here's a quick sample of the pictures a have of my actual games:

Not much of an angle on the Tomy... And these are kind of old... AND I just got a new photo studio setup, so an excuse to play with that is definitely welcome (and I did get it to basically photograph my game collection anyway...)

So if there's angles or something you prefer, let me know...
(I'll check your Email too, maybe you answered that already...)

You actually program the simulator into the picture of the game, right? I forgot about that, so obviously the angled shots don't help... I sent you the DK picture just for the heck of it, but I'll retake several while slightly adjusting the angle so you can get one you want, and with a solid white background.

And that's my old camera, with photos taken with just room lighting. I have a DSLR now and several stand up photo lights, so hopefully the pictures will look worlds better than these. Cool

Rik: I'm soon done with the programming of the Coleco Donkey Kong simulator update.

I now need the new graphics. I wish you could send me the new pictures shortly.

Thanks Smile

The pics are GREAT.
They're very bright, I will darken them a little bit.
But the 2nd pic is superb! Smile

Send me the pics for the Pacman game whenever you want, please Smile

PS: I still miss to know the actual paper size of the DK manual

Heh, yeah, the new lights are quite impressive... I'm still getting used to the camera settings with them. And I think the computer monitor I view them on is kind of dark, so I don't always notice that...

Forgot all about the manual, I'll check that out tonight.
