I remember (more or less) the rules of the Dungeons & Dragons which has exactly the same gameplay but with different 'objects'.
You play on a 10x10 field, your position marked by letter/number, so B4 means you are at the scond row and fourth column. There is also some indicator which shows if you are near to a danger. If it lit, then a nearby cell has eaither a trap, bat or dragon. A bat will grab you and put on a random cell. The trap will kill you unless you have a rope. In this case your rope will gone to a random place so you can grab it again. A dragon will also kill. The goal of the game is to kill the dragon. To achieve you need to collect the arrow, go a cell next to the dragon, 'turn' to that direction but instead of moving you have to shot.
That somewhat similar to the classical minefield game, but you have build up a map in your mind.
The 'objcets': bat, rope, trap, dragon, arrow, shot are replaced in the Masters of the Universe game, but the concept is the same.

Yes it is exactly the same game as D&D, with LCD graphics changes.

I am after the Masters game on loan. I would love to release a simulator for that game.

If you would lend me the game for a month or two, I would be able to scan it and return it to you soon. And I would credit your name as a contributor to the product.
