When I started up an LCD game, it took longer than usual for the game to begin as it cycled through several/all of the tunes first before actually starting. I think I had started the LCD handheld for the very first time because subsequently turning it on, it only played one of the tunes (so, it started much faster).

Is there any way to force the lcd game to reset as if it's the first time it turns on? I'm talking about the Konami handheld Contra. I want to hear all of the sampled tunes it has.

Batteries?
If that does not work immediately, it might have a capacitor to keep the clock running when swapping batteries. Keep them out for a night or so.

Thanks! I'll give this a try to see. Will report back with the results.

Does it have the tiny hole with 'Clear' or 'A/C' under it? That should force-reset the game if you press that with a pen/pencil or something.
