I don’t know if the goal was to do a real port of Galaga, but it seems like Star Force finally took advantage of all that a VFD could be.

So. Much. Fun.

Welcoming home a boxed, minty Defender Strikes.

With the multi-color display and shape of the aliens, it looks and plays like a port of Galaxian. I’ve found that I have to play on “2” mode, though, to keep the game play interesting with more aliens attacking.

I’m a sucker for a cute case…

Welcoming home a boxed FL Bandai Pengo and a boxed Goliath Lucky Pucky.

The Pengo is time-warp -- game still with plastic wrap, all poly inserts, and the brightest, most crisp display and controls.

New additions to the homestead: boxed CGL Galaxy Twinvader and boxed Waddington's 2001 The Game Machine.

Because remember kids -- it's not just a calculator, it's an adventure! Smile

Pound for pound, and especially once loaded up with 6 C batteries, it is definitely a 2-handed tabletop.

Not a bad pickup for 138 USD. Burgertime is one of my all-time faves, and I've been wanting a backup since I play mine so much. Scoring it with a box that is less tatty than mine is also nice. Smile

Picked up all this junk at an estate sale this weekend for $100. Anybody know if any of these are worth anything?

https://photos.app.goo.gl/2CWWJQAacLfDwloj2

Kidding, kidding. It's what remains of my collection after the last few years of private sales to collectors. Decided to do some new "family" photos now that all the stuff can fit in one place again. I expect to continue to narrow the collection over the next few years -- from current count of 58 to about 25 or so.

Howdy all. I'll post this both here and in the "neat item on eBay thread" as these are coming soon. In the afternoon of August 29, I'll be listing on eBay all of the ones you see here:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BCxnLqrR0uJTdpmnj7T-F9jyfYFbRXOj

eBay username is: jasontgarrett1

I've included in that folder the pics as well as a PDF of the full list of games. I'll also post the list as text only further below.

Lots of uncommon items -- Defender Strikes, Caries En Danger (Dig N Picman), Hyper Olympic Challenge 5, Wanted G Man / Operation Z, Digit Com Fighter, Jet Fighters, Pack'n'Maze, Galaxy Twinvader, Spiders, Lucky Pucky, Burgertime, Pengo, Flight Time, Cosmic Scramble (Raid Cosmique), Race N Chase, Destroyer...

All 45 auctions will be regular auctions – no reserve, no buy-it-now, no make an offer, no ridiculous starting prices. What’s better than telling other collector pals that you nabbed a Caries En Danger? Telling them you got it for a steal!

I did stagger the start times so that if the same buyer were interested in multiple, s/he would know whether they had won prior to other auctions ending.

If the text-only list below ends up looking like hot garbage, just know that an "X" at far right indicates that the game is boxed.

Hey Martijn! I'm in the Southeast US (Tennessee). I'll be in your neck of the woods at the end of November -- I'm coming to Brussels briefly for work and then I plan to hop a train to Tilburg on the morning of 29 Nov so that I can run around my favorite amusement park on the planet (Efteling) for the day. Very Happy

Oh yeah, it guess it would make sense for folks to actually be able to find the listings. Very Happy

I don't have a store, but eBay username is: jasontgarrett1

I'll revise the posts to include this.

Hello, all. Quick follow-up: I got all of the eBay listings created over the weekend, so the auctions will start today (Aug 26) in the afternoon and with start times staggered over a few hours. The auctions will run for 7 days and end on the Labor Day holiday (Sept 2). All auctions are regular auctions with no reserve, no buy-it-now, and no make-an-offer -- so moving up the start date will not cause anyone to miss out on anything they had their hearts set on.
