Hi, I just received two loose games that I bought in France for a combined cost with the shipping of 40 euros :

Konami Tutankham http://www.webalice.it/claudia.alessandro/konami_-_tutankham.html

and a Hanzawa (Ludotronic) - Auto Challange http://www.webalice.it/claudia.....lange.html

Ok , they are loose but that is better than nothing!

Also new things and a new look on my homepage! Yessss! http://www.webalice.it/claudia.alessandro/index.html
Some games for sale : http://www.webalice.it/claudia.alessandro/for_sale.html
I'm still waiting for more than 30 games to arrive ,all BOXED and some really rare!! Yessss!
Please tell me what do you think about it!

Alex Very Happy

Dude, cool! That reminded me of when I also scored a Konami Tutankham, and a Pengo, for like 80 bucks for both, also from France!

Yeah, Alex, very nice.... You'll run out of games to collect soon! Where do you find all these boxed games??? I never seem to come across some of your more obscure ones on ebay. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough!

Thank you guys! Tomorrow I'll post in the milestone section as I will reach the 400 games mark. Shocked
Belive it or not ,95% it's all eBay stuff.I't kind of a hard and dirty work to search in all the categories ,in all the ebays world wide, every day for something unusual .I'm also triyng to build a sort of a network with other collectors here in Italy. So if something pops up ,and Lind-hannible the Cannible dosn't shows up,there is a good chance to get it.
I'm selling quite a lot of games for cheap to make a sort of a base of collectors that might want to continue the hobby.i think its working as there are more Italian collectors showing up on foreign eBays.I think that France is an underrated place where to find rare games at very good prices. The seller of the Tutankham game sent me a picture of his bunch of games he was willing to sell and asked me if I wanted to take something! He made the price. They are more into the Game & Watch world.
Anyway for someone who enters this world ,sadly there is someone leaving like Andrew (aura_of_dynamite) who is really a special person!
Too bad!!

Alex

I think France and some other regions (maybe Italy as well) are kind of un-tapped locations for this hobby... It's gotten fairly popular in the U.S. (at least with common games everyone remembers... Everyone seems to want a Coleco Pac-Man or Mattel Football over here..) There's probably a lot of these games sitting around in closets overseas just waiting for people to see similar stuff on eBay and think 'I have one of those! I could sell it!' Mr. Green

One good sale on eBay will bring out all kinds of new items (that works for almost any collectible category)...

BTW- If you happen to find another orange Tutankham, I definitely need one! One of the few non-Hanzawa VFD games I still need... (I may steal your picture for the website... Cool )

(Has anyone ever seen the box for this?)

I talk about Italy, but selling ,and of course buying, "old stuff" through eBay is kind of a new hobby.Furthermore there is a certain scepticism here in Europe about online transactions involving credit cards. So as the time passes more and more people gain confidence with the "medium" , more and more things will begin to show up on eBay.This said here in Italy the handheld craze began in the early to mid eighties with the "schiacciapensieri" as they called the Game & Watches, so I don't think there is much room for rare findings for led and vfd games,we kinda jumped over them.
As said before France is the most "promising" in this sense.Germany is a mistery. It seems that they skipped ,back then, the handhelds, apart from the SENSO \SIMON games, and some tabletop, but nothing if you consider they are about half of the US poeple.
Rik as for any other game for witch you will need pics, you don't even have to ask, just take whatever you like.

Did I miss something? Who is this new guy Lind? Should I keep my eye out for him? Very Happy

Alex, 400 is a huge milestone. Keep up the good work!

I've slowed down on my game collecting. I've taken up robotics as a new hobby. Currently working on a Bioloid Humaniod robot in my free time. Once I finish that I'm going to convert it to a transformer like this guy did:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK8OjwMdn5I

Oh yeah and I'm also working on the second installment of a price guide. Can't forget that. I'm going to need pictures of your collections for the collector's corner.

Rolling Eyes France + ebay ? means "money rules the world because ebay is worldwide spread when you put something and search". prices are many times outrageous and sure we french cant pay amounts many non g&w games are going on ! Evil or Very Mad

Nice games... The first 3 3D games are actually all Japanese releases (you only mentioned it on the 3rd one...). I've always wanted the Japanese versions, but never really went after them. I have one loose one, that's all...

Yap you are right, Cosmo Le Mans is the same as Thundering Turbo ,the other is known as Sky Attack and Space Laser War is Planet Zeon. Only missing Sherman Attack and the elusive 3D Dog Fight. I got the licensed Tandy 3D Sky Duel so only those two to complete the serie! .If anyone has a boxed and complete game to sell of those two... please let me know. Wink

Ever heard about a Zetron game like the Dynamic Toys one?I opened the game and on the mainboard you can clearly read Dynamic Toys.
