Just a bit of encouragement for the work you are doing on the website.
I just love to see new updates on the site.

I also want to take some of your time to tell you how i appreciate this forum and website and all the work you put in it, you make the experience of collecting those beauties an easy and pleasant one.

The same thing applies to a lot of you guys ! (and girl Wink ).

Forza Rik !

Good question Neil...

First time i saw forza it was for Villeneuve (Gilles) a crazy F1 pilot for ferrari in late 70's early 80's, he was a french canadian like me... it's an italian word translated in french as vive, or so i've been told... Alex could tell us.

Now in english... vive... viva... praise to ??? i don't have the exact word... if such a word exist.

Pat

I see. Similar to Viva, as in 'Viva Las Vegas' the Elvis song/film.

Do you follow F1? I will be glued to the set this weekend Very Happy

Babelfish says Forza means Force. It's crappy with idioms, though...

Maybe they're invoking the force that keeps someone alive? Wink

Uhhhhhhh!!!!!!!The spiiiiiiiirit of Alex is cooooomingggggggg!!!Uhhhhhhhhh!!!!!From the deepest and darkest part of his basement here is he coooomingggggg!!! Laughing

Now my friends ,you have 3 wishes ! If you want to know what FORZA stands for you only got two(2) left!

Actually from a literal point of view ,Forza means STRENGH.
It is used in the common sense as a way to cheer up the athlets or teams, and this is why Mr Berlusconi called his party FORZA ITALIA to say that we(?) could make it and beat the lefties, and I think that the best english expressions is "GO" or "C'MON".

So......... GO RIK!!!!!!

Ps- FORZA FERRARI and FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for this but I'm really really right in the middle of the mid-life crisis!!!!!

Alex
