Ah, autumn is near...my favourite season. As a kid, fall always excited me because of the new school year, Halloween, etc. Even as an adult, it continues to appeal to me. I like the weather, the changing colours and dropping of leaves. As a teacher, I still get excited for the new school year, but five months in I look forward to the end of June.
I Just got back from Germany with loads of boardgames. I had taken a few months off from collecting handheld video games. I'm gong to pick it up again.
I'm going to concentrate on one or two "big" games (ones that fetch a bit on ebay ) and a few bargains, each month.
LEDs and VFDs here I come!

Hi LEDFreak,I'm absolutely in that same mood.It has that little melanconic taste that makes me the favourite season. As you said the colours, the smells, even the whather and the days that gets shorter but are still warm enough to be enjoied. If I don't recall wrong even Dan is a BIG board games collectors as he has a thousand plus of them!! Shocked
As for the led and vfds let me know your eBay name so not to harrase you on some of the games that you might be wanting,(fair game on those that I want Wink )

Chick dressed as Princess Peach. (Yeah, she has a boyfriend...)

Gee, that's a shame, Mario101.
But you had better stay in school and try the best you can, or you'll wind up spending the rest of your life regretting it.

It's all about balance, priorities, and common sense.

Heh. I know her. She's pretty funny. I've seen her at a couple of the NWCGEs. She is usually dressed like tank girl. Laughing

Isn't she with Toby?

Tank girl? That'd be cool... I'd probably like that more than Peach. Mr. Green

She's with y-bot from the DP forums... Is that Toby? I get the real and screen names of everyone confused/forgotten a lot. Rolling Eyes

Yeah. Y-bot is Toby's ebay shop, I believe. Very nice people. I got an APF M1000 system (gold star to anyone who knows what that even is) with basically all the carts for it from him at the last expo for very cheap. He's one of the few vendors who offers very fair pricing, so I can recommend his store to anyone who is interested.

I can't remember her name though. She's pretty unconventional and a bit goofy, but very nice. Conventions are always fun.

Hey Rik, you wouldn't happen to know John Hancock or Rick Weis from the expos would you? They're both very good friends of mine.

I think her name is Jeanne or something along those lines...

Rick Weis sounds familiar... And I've met so many 'Johns' it's hard to keep them straight... If they've been to CGE, I've probably run into them before at the least...

I think I'm out of touch with a few things in the UK. What's a 'tank girl' ?

Well, the first thing I thought of was a reference to the movie Tank Girl based on a comic book of the same name...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114614/

But, since that's a kind of obscure mid-90's movie, the term might mean something completely different to other people... Rolling Eyes
