If you know how to wield a soldering iron then I'd say go for it.
If it's broken already you can't do much harm by having a go.

So that was very simple. Replaced the power transistor and it came back to life.

Measured the zener voltage as 39v while in circuit. Already ordered a 32v zener so will try that when it arrives later today |
