Thanks for the link - those games are sweet. I just killed an hour here at work looking at the pictures.
Boy if only I had more room and money I could really see myself getting into those arcade-style baseball games.

Hey Neil when you find Baseball games think of me too!!
I have an insane passion for baseball and I collect all the baseball games that I find ,LED LCD VFD or whatever. Those games anyway ,imho, don't really belong to the handheld\tabletop electronic world. The push up or Bagatelle games are beautifull especially those from the 30's but ,in my case ,You have to make a decision and stick with electronics!!
As soon as i get the polishing products that i bought (Meguiars 10+17) I post the photos of my collection of Baseball games and all the rest :
PS-This year we have a bad rotation....... Anyway ..GO TWINS GO!!!!

Neil-
Thanks for thinking of me but I really don't have the room to seriously pursue those types of tabletop electric baseball games.
I have a couple of non-electronic tabletop baseball-themed games but will only purchase them when I happen to find them at a garage sale or flea market.
Alex-
I see you are a Twins fan in Italy - how'd you get hooked on baseball there and...why the Twins?

Hi phitter nice to meet you!!Sorry to have putten a little bit of a flame in your post!
Well when I was a kid ,back in the final years of the '70s,my whole family transferred to Rochester Minnesota 'cause dad,(may he r.i.p.),was an executive at IBM.Those where great years!!It's there that I met my first handhelds ,baseball and football, and it's ther that I got this passion for eveything that bears the Minnesota emblems. So it's 30 years that I don't miss or at least I try not to,the feats of the Twins,Vikes North Stars (Wild) etc.The internet especially with the Dsl has brought it even closer with the possibility to actually watch the games in real time! I couldn't have asked for more!As I'm a passionate guy I've become quite a fan especially of the now revamped Twins ,I really can't wait for the season opener and may Johan carry all the others to glory! In playing Baseball Mogul 2007 I'm making them win the world Series(wished it was that easy)!!
As for our beloved games I'm triying to catch up on you!!
Having seen that some of the games that you have in your baseball collection aren't showing up any more, I 've got a frenzy right now for the Japanese baseball games in whatever form I found, led or lcd.
Are you going after that Bandai?I shore will!
Anyway I say it again ,it's a great pleasure talking to you!
Joe Mauer
Ehm...sorry...

Neil-
You are correct -- Joe Mauer is the catcher for the Twins and last year's AL batting champ. I can see why Alex is a fan of his.
Alex-
I am trying to draw the line at those baseball games released in North America. Hopefully you will have good luck getting that Japanese baseball game (and many more!)
I am a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan but have enjoyed the Twins over the years. I rooted for them and especially Kirby Puckett in the 1987 and 1991 World Series
I don't think I will provide too much of a threat in future auctions unless I come across one of the few games I am still seeking.
Nice to talk to you too. Looking forward to the 2007 baseball season.

Well as a matter of fact Joe is THE Major League Baseball Batting Champ and not only AL. As for the Championship that we won back in 1987 and 1991 I just bought a commemorative DVD .Well seeing it I almost cryed!!
How fast the years pass!!!
I can remember clearly the final game of the '87 Wolrld Series.I was in the Military and I was earing it in bed under the cover so that others couldn't hear me, on the American Armed Forces Radio Network.
Was I crazy!!!
Enough,enough of this remembering!!!!!
Alex

If you mean Carlos Zambrano, I would have to say no. Thanks for the offer, however.
