Rik,
I know you're busy but I wanted to know if the Coleco Star Trek game case is yours. If so, do you have better images of the case? Specifically, I'm looking for top and side views. I'd like to make this game case into a 3d paper model.
If you'd like to see the Coleco Ms PacMan paper model I created as a "going away card" for my friend, click here...

I'll be making a Pacman Jr. "card" for his little boy when he's born this February. I also have the Coleco Donkey Kong Jr. game almost ready to go. I only have to create the joystick, buttons and finish the sticker art. I should be posting a test build soon.
Cheers!

BTW... Rik, if you're too busy, tell me to bugger off. |

Wow, that 'card' it really cool... Wanna sell one? That's something I could show off on the website and at classic game conventions, people would really get a kick out of that.
Or are they kind of one-of-a-kind items?
I assume you are talking about this Star Trek case:

Yes, this is mine. I do have more photos of it (and can always take more), but you caught me on the one day I don't have all my photos with me. I'll check tonight and see what I already have. I'm actually about to do another 'photo session' of all my recently acquired games, so getting different angles won't be a problem. I'll get back to you...

Rik,
Yes sir... that is indeed the game I'm talking about.
BTW... thanx for the kind words. I couldn't sell the cards due to copyright issues. I'll noodle on that one for a while... maybe a generic model and people pay me to do custom labels?
Cheers!

Aww, my birthday's coming up, just send me one!
I guess the copyright thing might be a concern, but you'd probably have to be selling hundreds of them for someone to care... You aren't out-right copying anything, just using trade-marked logos. You could probably 'give' a few away for 'donations'.
Worse-case, you'd get a letter from a Namco or Nintendo lawyer telling you to stop...
I like the generic model idea as well, either way... Maybe a template like the paper arcade thing? |

Rik,
Get me those Coleco Star Trek pictures and I think I can guarantee you a card.
When is your birthday? And out-of-curiosity, which Coleco hand held game do you prefer?
Cheers!
