No Rik ,I didn't even saw it I was talking in general and about two or three occasions in the past and only on common baseball games like the Tandy or Micro electronic ones.As a matter of fact I don't have a sense of the value of the games. For that game not knowing that it was worth so much I ,if I saw it ,would have offered since loose no more that 35.00 euros.

But you have to wait if the game is really coming to you.
He has a lot of negative feedback. By the way he only want the French Payment methods and they are not save (so in my country it is almost impossible to pay his way).

And when you have it, maby it doesn't work.

I offer not to much on games with not enough information and when there is a lot negative feedback, a several times i bought something there are more sctratches, missing covers, no sound and so on.

How many people saw Mr. Digger from this seller... at least 55-60 so i wonder if the price really went out so high. The cover was also missing but the last Mr. Digger sold on Ebay also (i thought).

By the way, i prefer the normal Ebay buying and no private deals.

Regards

I too prefer the normal eBay buying, but I'm also a seller and when I sell my aviation books or whatever if a buyer ask me too make IN ADDITION on the normal auction a BIN I do it because there is nothing wrong in doing this. The buy it now it's for everybody and dosn't go against any eBay rule!As a seller what's important is to sell the thing and if I think it's a good price I'll make the BIN.
THIS KIND OF CONSIDERATION APPLIES ONLY WHEN THERE ARE NO BIDS OR NO PEOPLE OBSERVING THE ITEM.Most of the times shortly after the pubblication of the auction.
If there are I don't do it .And if you check my auctions when they ask me to do so I always answer that it's not fair against the others watching and I publish the answer in the auction to discourage other similar questions.
And when I say this I talk with knowledge having sold some very rare and expensive aviation related books or Microsoft software.
Last year I allready told Neil about this, I got for nothing a sealed 2001 Microsoft Server software that retailed for about 7500.00 USD.After several tryes on eBay at different prices here it comes this guy from Germany -Wanderkrabs- that offered me about 2300.00 USD.
Guess how the auction ended!!
On the opposite if an auction is retired and I was watching it or I bid on it I usually get really mad and I write the seller right away telling him what I think of him.
As we say here in Italy , I don't have hair on my tongue , meaning that when I have to say something to someone I'll say it .Stop.

I was watching it too but when the seller answered to my second eMail like this :

"no pb; okkkkkkkkk"

being irritated on the question about the payment and having also seen his feedbacks I backed off.I had to do too many times with sellers that are a complete idiots.
By the way is jkcagbwd , Taki?
I was asking my self a lot of times on who was this guy that I found on several auctions, and beat the hell out of me most of the times!

If it's him....hey taki remember you owe me one!!!

Hi everyone. My first time writing in this forum. I want to ask how people can easily tell which ebay id belongs to whom? About the yckagbwd, whoever has transaction with gatchaboy can ask him who he is. yckagbwd has transaction with gatchaboy on item # 300105258735. This is not the first time I hear people saying this or that one on ebay is me without getting any proof, however I never spoke up about this. Now, I think this has been causing many problem ( like what Alex said ), so I decided to write and hopefully this would not happen again, not only to me but also everyone in the great game community. Thanks and best wishes to you all! Taki Smile

Well ,all my ex girlfriends always told me I had a gift in making them speak and externate their thoughts.
Now I 've made Taki post his one and only comment on the forum!
As for the comment I think that Taki got a little bit angry on the comment that I see recurring on the forum about his prices in his shop.
You have to know that I back you up in everything you do.And not only you but even Sexysi247 or the other ebay shops.
First of all because they set a paramether a reference point for everyone that it's an occasional visitor of the game community from an economical point of view. It's like they say :hey look out because these are no cheap things they are valuable!
Second because since we live in capitalistic and free world, they can put whatever the price for a thing that they might have bought for $ 0.99 !
I don't see anything wrong with this as long as there are people that CAN spend $ 100'000.00 USD for a Mercedes or 10'000.00 for a Steel Rolex.
And I think that I know what I'm talking about since my average wage is a mere 1800.00 USD a month. And thank God that my wife is an executive in one of the most important Italian banks!
As a matter of fact I'm worried by the fact that Taki is selling everything in his store ,sounds like going out of businnes!

Anyway this is what I think.

Alex

A little private comm :Taki I get my wage on the 15th,I've got to take my time ,sorry

Welcome to the Forum Taki Very Happy . I'm always suprised how many other big names in (Ebay) gaming havn't joined up to the Forum yet (at least with names I know).

The price of Taki's games are often high but he almost always sells very nice quality rare games. Even I managed to buy two of your games once so they can't all be that expensive Wink

Sorry again for changing my mind over the Tic Tac Toe Alex. I will definately let you know when I eventually relist it Smile .

I see from yckagbwd's bidding list that it is possible to outbid him/her as our host Rik has proved several times recently!

Neil.

Here's a guy selling off a large collection of games... Nothing strikes me as particularly rare, but it is a nice chunk of games if you need a bunch of them...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140117596939

(If no one expresses interest, I'll bid on it myself... Cool )

It's impressive the way he listed one photo from so many different angles! I think a few games in each photo would have been more effective Wink

Theres nothing I want there Rik so your free to bid for them as far as I'm concerned Smile.

I probably won't bid much... It's just that I don't want to see it sell for $14 or something... Mr. Green
