the Start button on my Super Cobra is missing the rubber under the buton...

is it possible to buy such a thing?

I've just fixed a clapped out entex space invaders II by slicing off the condactive tags under the rubber button and replacing them with ones I sliced off an old TV remote. Just superglued them in place. It's holding so far..

Yeah, those are definitely one of the things I salvage from any game (or any electronics really) that I take apart... Even if it's not the right one, you can usually cut it fit.
