I've just found a Wildfire pinball, and the terminals are *SHOT*, the batteries had probably been in there since the early Clinton administration.
I'd like to remove the case, so as to better clean and neutralize the terminals with baking soda and go at it with my Dremel wire brush (on slow; I'm not an idiot...)
OK: main point: after removing the two screws on the bottom, I still can't get it open. Are there screws under the display? Do I need a heat gun?
Should I just find a way to clean the terminals with case on? |

I'll check mine again, but I believe some part of the case snaps apart... You either have to snap off the clear display screen, or the two halves of the body snap apart (I think the latter is more likely).
I think I have a scrap one of these, let me look tonight...
