Greetings everyone, I realize this might be a tall order to fill, but I am willing to pay a premium provided that they are boxed complete. Thanks for looking. Best Regards, Freefall |

Hope you've got a lot of patience as well as deep pockets. Only one 3D Escape has been seen on eBay (it went for over $700), and the only known boxed BKP is in the tightly clamped hands of one of our forumgoers. |

Heh, ain't that the truth...
How many loose BKPs have we seen? I have one, anyone else here? I'm pretty sure there's at least one or two others out there...

Heh, no, there really isn't... I believe the owner of the boxed one has turned down offers of $700 or more... And I'd estimate it to be worth closer to $1000 if he actually put it up on eBay... (And he owns the full-size arcade game, so it's kind of sentimental).
The only loose one I've seen sell in over 6 years sold for just over $300 on eBay a few months ago... That's the only one I've seen forsale since 2003.
I would have to say that two of the rarest games out there right now are Entex Black Knight and Entex Escape 1000 Mazes.
I think there's three known Black Knights (two loose, one boxed, unless someone else here has one), and 4 known 1000 Mazes (two loose, two boxed).
Part of their rarity is also their desirability since the Entex brand is well known among collectors.
I think the next rarest things would either be some of the Tiger tabletops (like Jawbreaker and Space Invaders), or some of those games that are just from obscure companies (like the Gakken VFD games with the built-in handles, or the Pucki & Monster games, stuff like that...)
I've been looking for a Black Knight since Dan discovered the boxed one (almost 8 years I think...) I got my loose one in 2003, and have never seen another forsale except that loose one from last August... It's a VERY hard game to find. And it seems at least one more person is on the hunt for one. |
