Yeah, love that $120 shipping charge... Kiteyo's a collectible game (although it's the most common of the 3 Push-Up type games), but I don't think it's worth $145, esp if you can't see what it looks like... Rolling Eyes

I reported that one soon after it was posted, so I rather expect it will disappear shortly...

Update Monday: I've noticed that listing violation reports from the US to other countries' eBay sites are often back-burnered or ignored... Here's a prime example, it hasn't been cancelled yet with one day to go... Rolling Eyes

At least no one has bid yet, and I doubt anyone will!

I doubt if it's a language barrier problem, the Japanese love speaking English. And I've seen the same problem with reports to eBay UK!

A few weeks ago I had a local seller refuse to sell me the item I had legitimately won for anything less than 5 times the final price. Ebay could have cared less. I couldn't initiate a dispute since "not enough time has passed", so I emailed them and have yet to receive any response. I'm not out of pocket, sure, but disappointed nevertheless.

Oh and don't get me started on their so-called 'buyer protection' policies. Evil or Very Mad

Meanwhile, back at Ridiculous Ranch:
Fabulous deal on a damaged Invader From Space.

I think he meant $2 opening with $4.50 BIN... Then it might be worth it... For the box... Mr. Green

spacemonster, try reporting it as reserve fee avoidance, ebay only cares when they are out money themselves. As you can (I assume) provide emails with headers where he tells you he needs 5x what it went for, that will prove that he avoided a reserve fee.

I think this Mattel Baseball is priced a little too optimistically considering that you can typically find a boxed vintage version available on eBay most of the time:

Yeah, Taki has certainly been pushing the envelope for trying to get top dollar for games...

He still wants $399 for that loose orange Konami Tutankham!
(glad I got mine via France for under $50!)

I gather he must be having some success, though, otherwise why keep paying the inflated eBay listing fees?

It seems Rik's got it wrong. SUPERSONIC MASTERMIND is the oldest handheld game!

Wow, that is a tiny "computor" for 1959!

And I have never seen one go for 70 pounds as he says!
(I have a sealed one I'm sure I spent less than 20 bucks on!)

Hehe, someone obviously read the copyright of the concept of the Mastermind game, not the copyright of the electronic one in particular...

I'm sure the inventors of the UNIVAC computer in the 1950's would have loved to have one of these... Mr. Green

A month with no new ridiculistings is too long!

So, even though it's not a handheld:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120016680362

It's only missing three pieces! Rolling Eyes

Edit: I see he reduced the starting price from $100 to $30 - now it's only 3x too high!
