Hello,

many Years ago, when my Coleco Galaxian was my one and only Computer Game, I made as my personal all time record til today
40170. Reaching this it spends 80 attack waves.

Sorry, to this time digital cameras were still not invented. So the only evidence which I could delierver, would be the white old Label at the backside of the tabletop where I noticed my highest records + the amount of waves.

So, hopefully you will trust me.

7350. I also got this one in the mail with Super Space Invaders tonight. Fun game! Loud too, and I didn't realize that it had a version of space invaders built in. I was playing the Galaxian variation when i got the score.

I've been meanng to reply to your post Lord Thag. I just received this game the other day and I too was surprised that it also had a version of Space Invaders. I'll keep you posted if I top your score. Laughing

By all means, top it! We need some more healthy competition around here. The more people you get competing, the more fun it gets. I'm sure you could easily top my score on Galaxian, as I only played a few games.

Actually, your score is a lot harder to beat than you think. I tried for an hour last night and didnt even come close. Healthy competition is a blast, cant wait to get some of the other games so we can go head to head on those as well. Wink

I just made 21,240 last night with the Galaxian. This is my best score ever but unfortunately there is no way for me to show any proof. The score on that little bastard reset when reaching 10,000. Evil or Very Mad

Well, in general I'm willing to just take your word for it... I don't think anyone here would abuse that (hopefully), and if you can't really photograph the score, that's the only option we have...

The only option to prove it would be to make a video if you playing the game so the score can be tracked properly. For any kind of 'official' record score, that would have to be done, but for our purposes I think we can trust each other...

And you have proven you have the ability to play these games in general... Cool

Also, if you happen to remember (or when you start playing, do it deliberately), make a note as to how long you played. I'd love to know how long these games last (and if it tells you what level you are on, that'd be good to know also...)

I am glad to show you my new top score for the galaxian. Total score is 22,720. Took me around 20 min to do it. Lost my first lives at 19K. Note that you have only 3 lives with the galaxian and 1 skill level. No bonus with that one! See my youtube video : http://youtu.be/kO8e0tuqsfk

serge,...with only 1 skill level (impossible)
and only 3 lives that are taken away quickly...
i'm having a really tough time on this galaxian.
it's frustrating to try and video tape a million games,
and not even get half of the score you can on this.
i haven't given up yet...but i take my hat off to you on this one...
