Well since joining I have quickly rounded up a few games to work on. All work only two have issues.
PLUS I just won a Coleco Pac-Man on E-Bay. It's definitely is broken and is missing the battery cover..but really my joy comes from fixing these games anyway.

Yeah, I'll buy common games listed as broken just for the joy of fixing them and giving them away.

If you've never opened on before, definitely read at least that part (hidden screws...) Assuming no physical damage, cold solder joints seem to be the biggest problem with these...

Yeah..I read thru it. Pretty much not to different than what I already know how to do. It is a great resource though. Just a matter of finding a few really wrecked games for parts only. |
