completed the game with 2830.
i can only assume that most level-based Tiger games have a maximum score that can be reached when completed, as each level has a set amount of enemies which kills off any score variance. winning still gives you a "GAME OVER" display and pressing ON/START begins a new game at zero points.
i'll have to play through this again to see if i end up with the same score.
