Hi, I was hoping to use some of your guys' knowledge since I know very little about handhelds in general! I have a family member who collects these, and he mentioned that he wanted the game "Long Bomber Football" maybe a year ago.

As it so happens, I have found this game, and 11 others, most of them with boxes (Albeit the boxes are in poor condition, acceptable at best.)

The seller tells me that they were his Dad's and he wants 50 dollars for all 12 of them, the games are...

"Long Bomber Football by Mattel"
"Live Action Football by Kenner"
"Sub Chase"
"Battle Armor"
"Electronic Soccer"
"Advanced Football III"
"King Kong Clock and Game (by Tiger)"
2 Auto Racer games by different companies
And then I can't remember the others...

Is this an acceptable price to pay? They all turn on and appear to work except for the King Kong Clock/game.

Thanks for your help!

Yeah, that's definitely a good price... I figure at the least they are worth $10 each... Several of them more.

On thing about Long Bomb though, finding a working on seems to be nearly impossible. Look at the game when it's turned off (take the batteries out), the display should be a clean solid gray color, sort of like you see it here:

you shouldn't see any weird black patterns or designs on the game when it's completely turned off.
So far, _every_ Long Bomb Football I've ever seen has the black patterns visible when the game is off. This is caused by the LCD screen being damaged due to poor manufacturing and other factors. If it looks good turned off, and is playable when turned on, you've got a gem there! That alone is worth more than $50.
