I'm interested in a boxed Bowlatronic, but they all seem to lack poly's. One comes with a bubble wrap sleeve. What was the original way this was packed? |

I think it had a styrofoam insert at each end of the box to hold the game in place, and the game itself is in a bubble-wrap sleeve (but kind of a heavy duty bubble wrap if I remember correctly...)
I've also seen it with a cardboard insert that holds the game in place inside the box... So there's a chance they changed the packing at some point.
It definitely had something though, not just the bubble wrap sleeve.

I can verify that -- I looked through pictures that I saved off eBay, and see the two packaging variations as Rik describes. |
