I was thinking today, that since a lot of 80's electronic handheld games were made in Hong Kong, what would it be like over there in terms of buying used and NOS electronic handheld games.
Has anyone been there and checked out the used game stores, recycle shops , op shops, markets etc for handheld games?. If so, what was it like? |

I was there exactly 1 year ago.
Before flying there, I opened threads in every possible retrogaming forum, asking about retrogaming shops.
I came to knowledge of ONE ONLY retrogaming shop in HK, that's in the "Arcade 182" (or similar name) mall.
The shop is around 6 square metres wide, it's even smaller than the bathroom in my house.
It was full of used stuff, most of which you would never buy because it was all loose and very common stuff.
There were a couple of loose G&W. That's all.
