Hey everyone. I happen to have the Ghostbusters 2 handheld game by MGA (Micro Games of America). I need the manual however as I'm uncertain how to progress in the game whenever Vigo's face is fully visible in the painting. I've looked online for scans of it but no luck so far. Anyone here know where I can read the manual or does anyone specifically know what manuevers are necessary to defeat Vigo?
Here's the game I'm referring to-

Without trying to be condescending or, you know, not helpful ... I can only say good luck. I've been acquiring games these last couple of years and I would like to get manuals for them all. They are very hard to come by. Even for Tiger games, which are probably the most popular or well-remembered LCD games, manuals are hard to come by. I have probably 20 sites bookmarked with a handful of Tiger manuals each and still, maybe 10% of the time I can find one for a specific game I need. MGA game manuals are harder to come by, in fact I don't think I've found a single one.
Any time I get a game off eBay if it comes with the manual, I will scan it and create a PDF. A few of these I've placed on the handheldempire.com but I haven't purchased any MGA manuals yet.
If anyone has a better resource for handheld game manuals I'd love to hear about it. Sorry I can't be of help, Tartfox. |

For Tiger games, check Hasbro's Costumer Support website. Tiger used to have almost all of their manuals online, and Hasbro put a lot of them on their site (although many disappeared during the company switch as well...)
If you have any already scanned, let me know, I can add them to the site here as well... Even if the game isn't listed, I'll make a listing for it so we can archive the manuals. Now that these games are starting to be emulated in MAME, it would probably be good to have a consistent archive of the manuals.
The hardest part about these is you either find them forsale as a loose game (no manual), or a sealed game (and I hate opening sealed games)... Makes the manuals hard to get to. The only MGA I have up on the site is Mappy. I have the Rolling Thunder and G.I. Joe manuals too though, so I could scan them. |

I have looked at the Hasbro site before and found one or two things but I hadn't checked for a while. Thanks for the reminder! I just looked for about 30 Tiger manuals I need and I probably found 10 of them, so that's a big chunk.
I looked at MGA's site at mgae.com and didn't find anything for the games I need nor Tartfox's Ghostbusters II.
I would also add that some games had all their instructions printed on the back of the box, the Konami handhelds for instance. I assume those games didn't have an additional manual inside the box. |

No worries Singer. The manuals are indeed quite difficult to find. If no one is able to locate it, does anyone here own the Ghostbusters 2 game and if they do can they tell me how to proceed? |
