Hi everyone, I apologize for my English, I'm Italian. I am new to the site, and I am a fan of retro games. I have several consoles (all types of gameboy and nintendo in general), but I have recently rediscovered the old Coleco games. I became aware of this site thanks to the published repair guide, which is why I was able to repair an old PACMAN. I also bought a Galaxy, in an old flea market for only 10 euros. It was a little bad, but with a lot of patience I managed to restore it at least aesthetically. The game doesn't seem to work. very low sound almost no sound is heard at power up, but the VFD screen does not turn on. I replaced the tansistors, ceramic and electrolytic capacitors but nothing at the moment. I fixed the various broken tracks. But still nothing. I tested the screen by attaching a 6 volt battery pack (putting a negative lead on pin 31 and the positive on a random grid) and the screen lights up and emits loud sounds. So the screen works. I am left with the various diodes that "seem" to work, but I'm not sure (I don't know the values).
Has anyone solved it by any chance?
thank you all
Marco
