Can anyone provide some info on why these cost so much on the secondary market? No matter what I collect I always do my homework first without jumping in blind so any help that you can provide would be very much appreciated.

It's simple supply and demand. Rare games are in demand, the better the condition the more they bring. And the boxes, in good condition, are worth as much as the games, often three times more! |

Thanks for the quick reply Dan. I hear what your saying about supply and demand but can you elaborate a bit on the game itself? Are these tyoes highly sought after? Are they some of the first to be released in the handheld genre? I'm just trying to get a handle on some of the games that I am not familar with. I appreciate the help! |

The earlier Game & Watches are rarer, yes. The one you pictured was the second one, Ball was the first. See www.gameandwatch.com! |

And Flagman is the rarest game in the Silver series.
On this page you can find the rarity staus from the Nintendo games:

And indeed, how better the game and the box and the completenes... how higer the price. Sometimes a loose game goes away for 5$, the mint one for 25$, and so on.

Yeah, those games are form 1980, the first g/w and didn't gain the monster popularity until 1982-3 when the multi acreen and wide screen came out. _________________ Emulators are for the non collectors |
