There busy watching the Amazing Race okay, there glued to the TV. Any way, my Simon will not work. New battorys, light bulbs put in, do you think it could just be broken. Theres no battory corotion on it. _________________ Emulators are for the non collectors |

There's not much to a Simon from what I remember... I'd suspect a loose/bad wire from the batteries, or the on/off switch might be broken... |

I have a boxed Simon I got for £1.50 and a loose Simon with switch caps missing, battery covers missing and the 9v plug also missing, was thinking about turning it into a PC using one of those mini motherboards, certainly enough space inside it.
edit: Am I missing something here? the bid price seems somewhat absurd:

I've been watching this Simon since the day it was placed on ebay. It was on about £41 within a few a few of hours of being listed with 250+ views (650 now!!!) and loads of bids!! The UK seems to be going Simon and Speak & Spell crazy after Christmas.....Why????
I sold a lovely boxed Simon before Christmas for £44 but this price for this unboxed one is way over the top. The Simon I sold is the first item out of about 250 that never reached it's buyer (so far) .It's been posted a good 3 weeks now

Maybe something on tv reminded people about Simon etc. which is why people decided they had to have the one present they never got or had as a kid and lost along the years, that's almost the reason why I own a MB BigTrak with it's transport trailer
Oddest 'lost in the post' tale I have is a record that was posted to Ireland ended up in South Africa ! |
