ever since i posted my Adventurevision story...
http://www.handheldmuseum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=750
...that damn machine is all i can think about.
i've read about people searching for years and years to find one, but i think if i was lucky enough to find a working one in a thrift store over a decade ago, maybe i can find one more in this lifetime.
so i'm starting my search here and now. _________________ cheers,

Well, if money is no object, www.miniarcade.com is always selling his mint, never played set for $4700...
Otherwise, here's the Ebay search you want to be all over:
http://tinyurl.com/253p4r
If you've never used Ebay's automatic searching, click on the 'Save this search' link on the above page, and tell it to automatically Email you whenever this item appears... doesn't mean you will get one cheap (unless it's a seller that lists it with a $50 BIN, but then Dan would get it... ), but at least you won't miss any. (Unless they mis-spell it...)
You should probably also go to www.ebay.co.uk, www.ebay.fr, etc and type in the same search at least once a week. The search above is searching 'Worldwide', but that never really seems to work right...
Good luck...

thanks for the worldwide eBay links, Rik. i never even thought about that. i also checked up on miniarcade.com, and the AV was actually sold for $4750 with all games & boxes in minty condish. not like i'd be able to afford that anyway. i could care less if it was a really beat up system, as long as it worked and had one game (preferably Super Cobra for the sake of nostalgia), although Turtles looks awesome too.
but i'll keep my eyes peeled and thanks again for the info! _________________ cheers,

Wow, you're right, Miniarcade has listed everything on his site as 'sold'... Didn't even notice that... Hey Steve, you still here? Did you actually sell everything, or just close the store...
Oh well, I guess it's Ebay for AV's from now on! Hehe... |
